Permits Filed for 2073 Ryer Avenue in Tremont, The Bronx

The area of Tremont in The Bronx is set to undergo a significant transformation with the proposed expansion of a two-story, two-residence structure into a seven-story residential building at 2073 Ryer Avenue. The location of the proposed development is conveniently situated just two blocks away from the 182-183 Streets subway station, which is serviced by the B and D trains.

The proposed development will span a height of 60 feet and will offer 13,116 square feet of residential space. The building is expected to comprise 23 rental units with an average size of 570 square feet, and the structure will feature a basement and a 30-foot-long rear yard.

According to the recent permit applications, the site is owned by Aleksander Mici. Node Architecture Engineering Consulting and New Line Construction LLC are also listed as involved on the project.

Demolition permits are not expected to be required for the expansion.

While no estimated completion date has been announced yet, the proposed expansion promises to add to the growing residential scene in Tremont.
