The affordable housing lottery at 606 West 30th Street is accepting applications for prospective renters who meet the income and household size requirements until June 26, 2023.

The newly constructed high rise building at 606 West 30th Street is located in the West ChelseaHudson Yards neighborhood of Manhattan and is being constructed through the Inclusionary Housing Program. The project is anticipated to receive a Tax Exemption through the 421a Tax Incentive Program through the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development. There is a preference for Residents of Manhattan Community Board 4.

606 West 30th Street offers 277 residences, 70 of which are available for residents with an income ranging between 40 to 100 percent of the area median income (AMI). The eligible income for these units ranges from $29,040 to $144,100, and they can be applied for through NYC Housing Connect.

The 545-foot-tall Tower B, designed by Ismael Leyva Architects and developed by Lalezarian Properties will comprise 312,350 square feet, including 192,780 square feet of residential space and 14,240 square feet of commercial space.

The tower is part of a two-skyscraper development, which is situated between Eleventh Avenue and West Street, along with the adjacent 601 West 29th Street from FXCollaborative and Douglaston Development.

606 West 30th Street offers a range of amenities, including a pool, recreation room, outdoor terrace, resident lounge, bike storage lockers, recycling center, elevator, and an on-site resident manager. Each residence is equipped with washers and dryers, air conditioning, intercoms, energy-efficient appliances, and dishwashers. Rent includes hot water, heat, and gas for cooking, with tenants responsible for their own electric bills.

The affordable housing lottery at 606 West 30th Street offers available units at 40 percent of the AMI include 11 studios, 13 one-bedrooms, and seven two-bedrooms. At 60 percent of the AMI, there are 13 studios, seven one-bedrooms, and five two-bedrooms. At 100 percent of the AMI, there are 11 one-bedrooms and three two-bedrooms.
